MY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Today is my first Mother's Day...it feels sooo special!! Alyssa got me a 60 minute full body massage! What a great gift I can't wait to use it!

Alyssa is 2 month's old

Today Alyssa is 2 months old!!! She weighs 11lbs 15ozs. and is 22 1/4" long. She is sleeping 4-5 hours at a time. She is Smiling and cooing, has more head control and is recognizing our faces.

Alyssa's First Baseball Game

we took Alyssa to her very first Toronto Blue Jays game. The Toronto Blue Jays were playing the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium. We went to the night game on Friday and the day game on Saturday. Two Blue Jays games in one weekend! Good times!!

AND THE BEST PART OF SATURDAY'S GAME - WE MET 'THE LEGEND' JOE CARTER!!! JOE LIVES IN KANSAS CITY NOW AND THE BLUE JAYS GAVE HIM TICKETS TO COME WATCH THE GAME. HE WAS THERE WITH HIS SON AND WAS SUCH A NICE GUY. HE POSED FOR A PIC AND SIGNED A ONESIE FOR ALYSSA:

Meet Alyssa Shower in T-town

Grandma and Sarah hosted a MEET ALYSSA BABY SHOWER in T-town. Alyssa got to meet all of Jon's family and lots of our friends. We had a great time at the shower, lots of laughs, games, food and fun!!

Duane and Nicki visit

Duane and Nicki came to visit us and meet Alyssa. We are so excited that they could come and meet their Niece and spend some time with us. It was a great visit filled with shopping, eating out, relaxing and catching up.

Alyssa is 1 Month Old

Alyssa is one month old today!!! Right now she is waking up every 4 hours. She looooooves her swing, its a savior!! She can focus and track objects and recognizes Jon and my voice (so sweet).

Alyssa's First Easter

We celebrated Alyssa's first Easter. Meme and Pepe came down to help us celebrate. We went to church and then out to brunch (First Watch) which was YUUUMMY!! Then we went home and had a little photo shoot with Alyssa. She looked so pretty.

Grandma, Andrea, Essa and Parker visit

Grandma Homick, Andrea, Vanessa (Essa) and Parker came to visit us and of course meet Alyssa. The bonus to the visit is that I got to meet Parker. Vanessa and I always said that we would have children at the same time and who knew it would be true. A lot of our visit was spent relaxing but we managed to squeeze in some shopping and of course torturing Andrea time. HA HA HA!!!

Bringing Baby Home....

Today we got to bring Alyssa home!! It was a cold and windy day so we had to bundle her up. Leaving the hospital with those knowledgeable nurses was scary but we were in good hands. Waiting to greet us were Meme and Pepe and of course Belle!!

Alyssa is Born

Our beautiful baby girl is here!!! Alyssa Pauline Tipton was born at 8:58am. She weighs 7lbs .04ozs and is 18.5" long. She has a full head of dark brown hair. We are so proud and love her so much already!

Grandma and Grandpa Tipton left Teutopolis just hours after receiving the call that my water broke!!

Meme and Pepe Homick also left a few hours after receiving the phone call. The only problem was they were 15 and a half hours away. After a looooong day of flights and going to EVERY city but Kansas City first, they finally made it to see Alyssa. Not to mention their luggage got lost along the way...ouch!!
